Wanting to take advantage of the long holiday weekend, we all went down to the Minnesota Zoo to check out some of the new exhibits.
One area we visited for the first time was the large new playground that was put in. Mallory and Mom went climbing up into the tree house.
Then Mallory tried her hand at a fishing boat.
Then it was back inside to check out some marine life. Mallory is helping Dad find the fish, as he was never a very good fisherman.
It turns out if we wanted to see some wildlife we could have saved ourselves the trip, as we had wild turkeys in our backyard when we returned.
