Best Buy Holiday Party

Back in December, Jamie packed up the girls and headed out to meet Daddy at Best Buy for the annual holiday party.

 Mallory and Dad got to decorate some Christmas sugar cookies...

 ...while Mom and Sophie hung out nearby.

 The girls put on their pretties scarves and dressed up as snow-kids.

After Mallory and Sophie got to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, Mommy and Sophie were lucky enough to get their picture taken with Mallory the Red Nosed Reindeer.

Sophie Bath

When Sophie finally got her hip brace off, that meant we were finally able to give Sophie a full bath.

 Sophie was a willing participant in getting into her new bathtub.  Much better than getting patted down with wash clothes for the first couple weeks.

 And of course, big sister was right there with her and was quite the helper when it came to washing her hair.

Mallory wasn't quite as eager to share her lion towel with Sophie though...

Cookie Making

A lack of snow didn't keep the girls from makine some Christmas cookies.

 Mallory was working hard getting all the dough ready.

 But still found time to make sure all the chocolate was accounted for.

And when the cookie baking was done, the girls still had enough energy to pose for a picture in their Santa hats.

Winter Dancercise Recital

 The December dancercise recital at school presented Mallory an opportunity to wear one of her best twirly dresses...

 ...and her fancy dancing shoes...

...and some of her best dancing moves.

Winter Fun

Even though it was an incredibly mild winter in Minnesota, the Helds still got to partake in a little winter fun.

 The first (and almost last) big snowfall of the year, Dad put Mallory to work shoveling the driveway.

After she had cleared a path for us to leave, we went to a local Christmas tree farm for a picture with Santa, and also to hang out with some of his reindeer.

Sophie and Mom

After all the excitement of late November, it was time to take a step back and soak it all in.

Sophie and Mom got to get in a little R&R...

...and do some Mommy/baby bonding.

Thanksgiving

Just a few days after Sophie was born, the Helds had everyone over for Thanksgiving dinner.

As you can tell, Mallory hadn't grown tired of being a big sister yet.

Thanksgiving also gave Bobo and Brian a chance to practice with a brand new baby before the twins arrived.

It also gave Daddy, Papa Larry, and Poppa Jim a chance to work on their silly faces.
