It's Friday

The girls are excited for school today. It's Friday! We have a fun weekend planned, Nani & Poppa return soon and vacation is only days away now.

Steve and I had the opportunity to watch the Flaherty cousins; 6 on 2 = serious zone defense!

Story Time

Monday is library story time. We often meet our cousins! This week we learned about the letter "T".

Party Weekend Down South

We had a busy weekend in southern MN. Steve's Aunt Diane and Uncle Butch threw a HUGE party celebrating Butch's retirement and grandma Betty and Grandpa Ig's 70th wedding anniversary! 

Trip highlights included driving the golf cart (which Mal mastered).

Playing in the corn fields. 

Visiting with G and G at their house. 

Listening to live music at the party; it was a regular jam session with Marcus getting in on several sets. And just relaxing And being silly together. 

Grounds Crew

Everyone in the house has to pitch in to keep the yard looking nice.  Even the youngest one.

Playground

Sophie had a special play date with Dad at the playground.  Which meant she had to out on her special playground outift.

Flaherty Girls

The Flaherty girl cousins enjoyed a play date together. It was lots of fun with loads of giggles.

Gardeners

The girls are anxiously awaiting the fruits of their labor. We are going to be overflowing with tomatoes pretty soon. 

Officially sitting

Oohhh la la

Bree is thoroughly enjoying her new skill of eating solids. She loves sitting at the table with the family. 

She loves everything we have given her thus far ... rice, oatmeal, avocados, peas, sweet potatoes, bananas and blueberries. 

She's even pretty proficient with the sippy cup. 

Yum yum. Life is good!!

Sparklers

We had a great 4th of July. The girls really enjoyed celebrating America's birthday. 

Mal and I had fun with sparklers.

6 Months

Somehow half a year has already passed since Bree joined the family. Time goes way to fast and she is growing up too quickly. 

Bree is full of personality and spunk. She loves to eat and is really enjoying solids with the family at meal time. She's rolling like crazy and giggling lots. 

She's digging her sippy cup and jumping on the family War Eagle bandwagon!
