Big Girl Bed

Sophie has been doing great sleeping in her big girl bed ...

as long as half the bookshelf is in bed with her!

Flaherty Time

Friday fun day often means spending time at the Flaherty's! Bree enjoyed some quality time with Nani and Poppa.

Soup Day

Yesterday was the First annual soup making extravaganza. Jodie and I made 5 soups to stock the freezer. Mal and Sophie cheered us on. 

Friday

It's Friday! Sophie helped me clean the house this morning. 

Realizing I am not much fun, she anxiously awaited for Nani to get her for a play date with her and Poppa.

Reindeer

Today we saw 3 reindeer In the back yard. They were trying to get food to eat. One of them went  to the playground. 

Chess Club

Mallory participates in chess club at school. Another season came to an end today. 

It's a great program that is well loved by the Good Shepherd student body. Look at all those chess players. 

5 Weeks

Bree is growing! She's now 10lbs. She's smiling, cooing, and tracking voices. 

Spelling test

Mallory prepared for this weeks spelling test in a new way, with her Boogie Board (think modern day etch-a-sketch).

Party Weekend

Mallory turns 7 February 9th. This weekend was all about celebrating. There  was a family party ...

With many a reason to celebrate, including the whole family being together, the adults broke away for a steak dinner at Manny's. Bree had her first bar experience ...

Uncle Erik & Aunt Jill are in town. Bree was happy as can be to take an afternoon nap in Erik's arms.

New Schedule

Sophie started her new school schedule this week. She will now be home with me  and Bree on Mondays and Fridays. She was a great helper this past Monday. She even took some time to teach Bree to make silly faces for the camera.
