Christmas 2010 - Part I

Christmas morning was an exciting time at the Held House. Mallory left some milk and cookies for Santa and some carrots for his reindeer. We woke up bright and early to check out what was left.

Mallory peeks into the living room to check out the fire place.

The plate of cookies is gone (hmm, wonder where that went) and some new toys were left in the fireplace.

Mallory explains to Mom how a xylophone works.

Not to be outdone, Mommy gives Mallory some drumming lessons. Watch out Partridge Family.

Christmas Decorations

Shortly after Thanksgiving, the family congregated in the red room in order to set up the Christmas tree. At first, it wasn't much taller than Mallory.

Let there be light!

And after the tree was all put together and all the lights and decorations were on, it was time for a crazy family photo. A self portrait nonetheless.

Letter to Santa

The Holiday season brought another trip to the 8th floor at Macy's to see the Christmas display. That also meant...

Writing a letter to Santa!

Not wanting to let Mallory have all the fun, Mommy also had a vast Christmas list for St. Nick.

Off to the North Pole!

Snow Storm

What would November in Minnesota be without a huge snowstorm to deal with.

I think Mallory had more fun playing than Dad did clearing off the driveway...

Gymastics Graduation

Mallory is a regular at the Plymouth Park & Rec gymnastics class. At the end of each session is the graduation/recital for everyone to come see the kids.

This time around, Bobo came to watch, and also got invited to do some stretching with Mallory.

Mallory showed off her hanging skills on the parallel bars.

And her balance on the high beam.

Here she is sticking a dismount on the vault.

And here are the proud parents with Mallory showing off her certificate.
