Sherburn Visit - Part II

Mallory also got to stay with Great Aunt Diane...

...and Great Uncle Butch (this was before he tore his rotator cuff playing Wii)

She looks like she was having a good time.

Sherburn Visit - Part I

Over the weekend of April 19th, Mallory went down to Sherburn to surprise her Great-Grandma and Grandpa, Betty and Ig Maday.

Mallory got some good quality time in with Great Grandma, but she doesn't seem to be too happy with Great Grandpa.

They seem to be taking a liking to her...

We're Gonna Win Twins

Two Months

Mallory turned two months old on April 9. We cannot believe that two months have already passed. She's a growing and developing girl. She is now 11 lbs 12 ozs and 23 1/4 inches.

She can put her fist in her mouth and suck, and can even navigate just the thumb into her mouth at times.

She smiles a lot more now and does so in response to people playing with her. (It's difficult, however, to catch the full smile on camera.) She "converses" very well with people and loves to hear the sound of her voice, especially when she's really loud.

She can hold objects on her own for an extended period.

And she focuses very well on people (and Samson) paying close attention to facial expressions. It's been a very busy month at the Held house.

Bed Time

Mallory models her sleeping wardrobe, her sleep sak. She's a great sleeper which mom and dad love. She consistently sleeps 4.5 - 6 hours at a stretch.

Fun with the Flahertys

Mallory, Nani and mommy visit the Conservatory to see the flowers and other sites ... an anaconda and a sloth.

After the field trip, Mallory entertains us all.

Mommy Time

Mallory, mommy and Samson enjoy some quality play time.

Fashionista

Not even two months old and she is already the most fashionable member of the family.

Steve teaches Mallory how to correctly roll her pants, circa 1989.

Easter

Papa Held and Mallory relax, probably while watching golf together.

Mallory does her best impression of the Easter bunny...
